“Strings of Time: My Journey with Vintage Pearls”
There’s something magical about pearls — the way they catch the light, the softness they exude, the quiet confidence they lend to the wearer. But my love isn’t just for any pearls — it’s for vintage pearls, each one carrying a whisper of a bygone era, each necklace or earring a fragment of history strung together with care.
My journey into vintage pearls started in a high-end jewellery store in England.
I began collecting vintage sntique and vintage pearls from around the world , delicate strands with clasps engraved with tiny initials, and earrings that had clearly seen many dinner parties. I didn’t know then that I was falling in love, not just with the pearls, but with some of the stories they told.
So I began researching their origins, identifying makers, learning how to gently clean and restore them. The more I learned, the more passionate I became.
Eventually, I started selling them helping others connect with the past through something tangible, timeless, and beautiful. Some customers bought them for weddings, others to honor a loved one, or simply because they felt drawn to the quiet elegance that only vintage pearls seem to carry.
To me, selling vintage pearls is not just a business — it’s a way of preserving memory, of honoring craftsmanship, and of reminding people that beauty doesn’t fade with time. If anything, it deepens.
These pearls have traveled through generations. And I consider it a privilege to guide them to their next chapter.
